Who We Help

When to call

Founder-led and scaling brands that need a Chief Merchandising Officer — for a season, not a salary.

i.

The product isn't converting

The assortment has grown but sales haven't. SKUs multiply, margin thins, and no one can say which products actually earn their place in the line.

ii.

Growth has outpaced the function

What worked at launch breaks at scale. The brand needs real merchandising architecture — planning, forecasting, pricing — built before the next stage, not after.

iii.

Margin is leaking through the supply chain

Costs crept up, lead times stretched out, and vendor relationships run on autopilot. There's profit sitting in the operation no one has gone to collect.

iv.

Customers buy once and disappear

Acquisition is expensive and getting more so. The brand needs a retention engine — loyalty, lifecycle, community — that turns first purchases into lifetime value.

If any of these sound familiar, you don't need another agency deliverable. You need an operator in the room.

What We Do

Services

Fractional leadership, consulting engagements, and interim merchandising roles — across DTC, wholesale, and omnichannel.

I — Strategy

Merchandising Strategy

Assortment planning and optimization, SKU rationalization, pricing architecture, and financial forecasting. Big-house merchandising discipline — line plan to P&L — scaled to where your business actually is.

II — Product

Product Development & Innovation

From concept to consumer delivery: trend forecasting, raw materials, prototyping, and the product-first culture that aligns design ambition with commercial reality.

III — Operations

Supply Chain & Margin

Vendor negotiation, sourcing strategy, lead-time reduction, and cost engineering. Margin recovered without compromising quality — 20% raw-material savings is a recent result, not a promise.

IV — Growth

DTC & Omnichannel Growth

Channel strategy across e-commerce, wholesale, brick-and-mortar, and marketplaces — built on the playbooks that pivoted a $2B category online and grew six brands past $5B in combined sales.

V — Retention

Loyalty Program Design

End-to-end loyalty and retention builds: tier architecture, rewards economics, terms and conditions, and the email and SMS lifecycle flows that turn first purchases into lifetime customers.

VI — Image

Brand & Creative Direction

Positioning, brand architecture, and the visual and editorial language that keeps every touchpoint unmistakably yours — from lookbook to landing page.

How We Work

The approach
No. 1

The Edit

Diagnose

Every engagement begins with a merchant's audit — assortment, margin, pricing, supply chain, and customer file. We find where the money is hiding and where the line has lost its point of view.

No. 2

The Direction

Decide

A clear, sequenced strategy — line architecture, pricing, channel plan, retention — with the financial model behind it. Not a deck that sits in a drawer; a plan your team can run.

No. 3

The Build

Deliver

We stay in the room. Fractional leadership embedded with your team — running the calendar, negotiating with vendors, coaching your merchants — until the function stands on its own.

Strategy and execution from the same seat — because a plan no one implements is just expensive paper.

Parisse Majd · Founder, Maison Majd LLC

Fifteen-plus years inside the houses that defined modern retail — now in service of yours.

Parisse Majd is a fractional Chief Merchandising Officer whose career spans lululemon, Under Armour, Athleta, Eddie Bauer, Victoria's Secret, and Cosabella — contributing to more than $5B in sales. She has built categories from zero to $60M, turned underperforming businesses into billion-dollar engines, and led brand resets for global corporations and founder-led companies alike.

Her philosophy is unapologetically merchant-first: data informs, but instinct decides. She speaks four languages, trained at LaSalle College, and writes on merchandising and retail through The Board Briefing.
